I walked into the pizza shop the next day and there was tape over all the tables and seating. I thought it strange. People were starting to wear masks. Was this something I should do? It feels strange. Will people think this is a joke and mock me for being too cautious? The days went on and the masks were more and more prevalent. I was asking many fearful questions, along with the rest of the world. Nights and days were spent next to the news, hearing the latest updates, gauging if this was actually a serious threat. How would my company survive? Would I have business? People were being told they weren’t allowed to gather or party… This would soon be the new norm….
Covid has definitely changed the way we celebrate and it’s hard to think that it’s been almost a year of living with masks, but the sunshine is coming, and our Long Island will soon be back to normal. Vaccinations are being scheduled and released and it will soon be a matter of time before they are available to the general public.
